The official eligibility information states that applicants are generally required to be between 25 and 55 years old, have a valid CNIC and NTN, maintain a clean credit history and have their residence and business in Punjab.
Financing is divided into different tiers, with the official Punjab Portal currently listing financing from Rs. 1 million up to Rs. 30 million depending on the category and security requirements.
Another option is the CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Card, which provides a revolving business credit facility of up to Rs. 1 million to eligible small entrepreneurs. Applicants must meet age, residence, CNIC, mobile-number and credit-history requirements.

Punjab Housing Schemes
Two important housing initiatives are Apni Chhat Apna Ghar and Apni Zameen Apna Ghar.
Apni Chhat Apna Ghar is aimed at eligible low-income families who meet the program’s land ownership and socioeconomic conditions. The official criteria include Punjab residency, ownership of a qualifying small plot and registration in NSER with a PMT score of 60 or less.
Apni Zameen Apna Ghar is a separate program that provides eligible applicants with free residential plots. The first phase was announced for selected districts, with applicants required to meet residency and property-ownership conditions.

Punjab Solar Scheme
The CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme was designed for domestic electricity consumers using up to 200 units per month, subject to other conditions.
The Energy Department states that eligibility was based on June 2024 electricity consumption, with a sanctioned load of up to 2 kW. Consumers involved in electricity theft, having defective meters, multiple meters at the same residence or certain payment-default conditions were excluded.

Punjab Ration and Relief Programs
Punjab also operates social protection programs for low-income households.
